MYArts Visiting Expectations

MYArts is a private youth arts facility and is generally not “open” for walk-in / drop-in use–we expect that people in the building are here to participate in and/or work on a specific program that is taking place at MYArts. At times there may be specific programs that allow drop-in participation, such as “open gallery hours” or “Community Day,” but it is still expected that people coming to the building–whether youth or adults–are there for a program.

All program providers (i.e. event coordinators, teachers, assistants, interns, etc.) are required to wear a name tag, program lanyard or some form of identification at all times.

Touring MYArts

All tours at MYArts must be conducted by a MYArts staff, anchor partner staff or MYArts tenant organization (an organization that rents office space at MYArts).

To tour MYArts, please contact info@madisonyoutharts.org

MYArts Hours

MYArts will open the building doors and staff the front desk when programs are happening. Check out our programing page or events page to learn what is happening in the building.

MYArts Sign-In Policy

Caregivers who are staying more than 15 minutes while youth participants are in a program must sign in at the front desk and wear a green sticker dot (provided at the front desk) to identify as having signed in. Caregivers who are coming into the building to drop off / pick up youth participants and staying less than 15 minutes do not have to sign in.
